Recent developments in VoIP service are (WiFi) phones. Like cell phones they send out
signals but on a different frequency.The signals are intercepted an routed to the internet.
Wi-Fi uses hotspots located in coffee shops, and some state owned Wi-Fi.
An advantage of wireless VoP is that IP Phones that work on Wi-Fi networks can be used in
place of cell phones. Public 802.11 hotspots are usually free or at very low price. If you are
connecting to the web there is no cost to make VoIP calls other than your VoIP provider.

Wi-Fi techonoly is alternative to cell phones. you can now purchase a phone that is like a
cell phone, but it runs off of wireless VoIP.

In order for this to work you will need a wireless/WiFi and a WiFi connection. A wireless
VoIP router for your home/office if you want mobiity when you speak through your
own VoIP system.
